This latte with a local twist is the brain-child of Wildflour Market owner, Jamie Dessert.

You can find her making these concoctions Tuesday-Saturday at our tea factory - 504 Pullman Road.
If you want to try on your own, here's her recipe for an iced latte, (easy to make hot too):
You'll Need:
Yaupon tea (blend of choice) - brewed strong, and chilled
Honey (she uses spiced honey from Kookaburra)
Cinnamon (optional)
Vanilla
Heavy Whipping Cream
2 shots of espresso
Ice
Directions:
- Start with 8oz of yaupon tea and add in 2 shots of espresso. Whisk with honey (dollop or two depending on how sweet you want it), until well blended. Pour into a glass with ice, leaving room for cold foam on the top.
- In separate mug, make cold foam. Use heavy whipping cream, and add in cinnamon and vanilla to taste. Whisk until there are peaks.
- Pour on top of yaupon/expresso and top with more cinnamon
- Serve with straw. As you let it sit, the cold foam will integrate with the yaupon/expresso.

- ENJOY!
Jamie's customers love this - it's a fan favorite for sure. She uses Healthy Kick tea with cinnamon, but also makes these yaupon lattes with other blends - mix and match cold foam flavors for endless combos!
She's a yaupon latte fan because you get the great latte taste without having to drink a full cup of milk.
Have you tried it? What do you think!?
